  I'm thinking about the value of yoga retreats. Places I've been to participate on retreats have been so magical. But not just because the actual area was beautiful but also the energy that was emanating from our practices was magical and deeply healing. The morning chorus of the birds outside my window, the waves of the ocean flowing up and down the shore or the wind blowing through the windows of the yoga room... all of it made my experiences more special. There's something about being somewhere else and letting go of your daily routine that helps you immerse yourself into the experience.
